Videos of Skoorsteenberg Farm

A collection of videos made of Skoorsteenberg Farm – by family, friends and guests.

A general introduction to the farm filmed between 2013-2018, including glimpses into a few of the activities and things to see at Skoorsteenberg Farm.

Marius Roberts visited the Tankwa Karoo and filmed his experience as part of his ‘Just To See How Far It Is’ series – a 30 day overlanding, off-the-beaten track road trip for him and his 3 dogs!

Chanel and Stevo from the travel blog How Far From Home visited Skoorsteenberg and recorded this Vlog of their stay. Read the full post here.

Music video by Obscura Films for Djembe Monks, filmed at Skoorsteenberg farm.

“This piece is a contemporary interpretation of a traditional rain-dance ritual performed by the BaKalanga people of Zimbabwe. Set in the present day and touching on the topical issue of the current global water crisis, the BaKalanga people call upon the “iWosana” who will communicate with the ancestors and god Mwali through movement and sound, in a hope to bring the rain.”

A short film of the 6th Annual Tankwa Community Day held at the Tankwa Padstal and Community centre on 6 October 2018, with music by Skoorsteenberg’s own – farm manager Jan Simes!

A fantastic event for the local community, all due to the hardwork of Tankwa Community Projects.

Views of the Cottages from above – thanks to Andre Steenkamp and David Moore for the drone footage.

Guests to the farm made this awesome video of their flight in and trail run to the top of the Skoorsteenberg.
